The Federal Government will make a decision on the next phase of eased lockdown in the country known tomorrow, Tuesday
Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 who doubles as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, made this known after meeting with the President on Monday.
A tweet by Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari, said: “Today is the last day of Nigeria’s phase II of the eased lockdown, members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefed and submitted their recommendations to the President for approval, the next lines of action will be announced tomorrow, SGF Boss Mustapha discloses.”
Nigerians who had been subjected to over one month of lockdown will frown at any plan to extend the lockdown at any rate.
But with the number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria nearing 25,000, asking the people to stay at home may again may not be an impossibility.
